Exclusive: Jamie Marshall’s romantic suspense film Eternity, starring Pierson Fode and Meadow Williams, is set to be the first big film to shoot at Kapa Studios’ new 22,000 square foot stage.

The project is due to go into pre-production from September and will be based at the studios in Athens - the largest and most advanced facilities in Greece - offering 12 sound stages totalling 25,000 sq ft across 25 acres. Filming will also take place in surrounding Greek locations, before moving to Italy.

“We are looking forward to hosting the film at our stages,” George Karavokyris, series production co-ordinator at Kapa Studios, tells TLG.com. “It was a quiet summer, but we have had a lot of requests for September onwards.”

Marshall has replaced Michael Caton-Jones as director of Eternity, which follows Calvin (Fode), a charismatic conman whose life takes a dangerous turn aboard an exclusive yacht cruise. Williams co-stars as Katrine, a powerful and enigmatic woman at the center of the film’s intrigue.

Williams is producing for Diamond Film Productions, alongside Jon Mason for JMason Entertainment, and Jeanette Volturno for CatchLight Studios.

Kapa Studios also recently hosted season two of Amazon Prime’s House of David series where the production team built the palace of David in one of the stages, and used an LED screen for battle sequences. Plus another Amazon series, The Assassin, which created the interior of a yacht in the stages.

Greece is proving a popular filming location, helped by its 40% cash rebate incentive getting back on track following delays in re-payments. Creative Greece disbursed €55m to local and international projects in the first six months of 2025, and is expected to deal with the remaining backlog by the end of this year.
