LITES STUDIOS BELGIUM includes large hi-tech sound stages and LITES WATER STAGE, the most advanced interior water studio on the planet. The maximum water surface is 1300 m² (14.000 ft²) And a maximum depth up to 10m50 (34 ft) Large platforms can float, tilt, capsize, and sink underwater while offering full safety for the people in and under the water. The stage has 2 gantry cranes lifting 25 Tons and a huge skylight. All water SFX are available : waves up to 180 cm (6 ft) , dump tanks, water cannons, rain, mist, currents, wind, underwater explosions. By using an oversized filtration system, the water look and visibility can be fully controlled for continuity during long periods, including complex sets in the water. Sound Stage 1 has a surface of 1.250 m& (13.500 ft²) and a height under grid of 9 meter (29,5 ft) Sound Stage 2 has a surface of 1.720 m² (18.500 ft²) and a height under grid of 14 meter (46 ft) The Belgian tax incentive, up to 42% makes shooting at LITES very attractive.
